The Women’s Empowerment Program was established to support refugee and immigrant women as they build new lives in the DMV area. Recognizing the complex challenges these women face, the program provides access to a wide range of social, cultural, and wellness resources designed to foster connection, growth, and confidence.
This program offers a safe and welcoming space where women can engage in guided activities, workshops, and peer support that are tailored to their individual needs. Through participation, women experience reduced social isolation, improved mental well-being, and increased physical activity.
Program Focus Areas:
Professional Development Workshops – Empowering women with tools for career growth and self-sufficiency.
Skill-Building Activities – Enhancing personal and practical skills for everyday success.
Field Trips & Community Integration – Encouraging social connection and engagement within the broader community.
